【News】CYBERDYNE Signs MoU with National Taiwan University and the University of Tsukuba for International Collaboration on Cybernics Medical and Healthcare Innovation

We are pleased to announce that we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Taiwan University (NTU) and Tsukuba University (UT) for international collaboration in Cybernics Medical Healthcare Innovation.

Under this MoU, NTU College of Medicine, NTU Center for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Robotics, UT Center for Artificial Intelligence Research, UT Center for Cybernics Research and CYBERDYNE will collaborate to advance research cooperation in the field of “Cybernics,” which integrates bio/medical systems with AI/robotics/information systems, with the aim of enhancing medical and healthcare services in Taiwan and Japan and accelerate “Cybernics Medical Healthcare Innovation” through the creation and social implementation of innovative solutions.

Founded in 1928, NTU is Taiwan’s premier comprehensive university. It offers world-class education and research across diverse disciplines, including medicine, engineering, natural sciences, and humanities and social sciences. As one of Asia’s leading research institutions, NTU actively fostors international collaboration through its global partnerships and initiatives in cutting-edge medical, AI, and robotics, and has earned high acclaim in these advanced fields.

Going forward, the three institutions will collaborate under this MoU to advance human resource development in the field of Cybernics in Taiwan and Japan through joint research, the development of educational programs, and the hosting of international conferences. We aim to cultivate the next generation of specialized professionals equipped with practical knowledge and skills, and to expand innovative Cybernics Medical and Healthcare Innovations into regional and international communities, striving to maximize their social impact.
