Renting "Robot Suit HAL" for Well-Being in Japan

"Robot Suit HAL" for Well-being is only available under a rental/lease system in Japan.
Facilities interested in the rental of "Robot Suit HAL" for Well-being can make a contract directly with Cyberdyne, or through our agents.

Eligibility

Medical/welfare facilities can make a rental/lease contract. "Robot Suit HAL" for Well-being is not available for individual use at the moment.

Rental procedure

Manufacturing of the specifically sized Robot Suit HAL generally starts upon receipt of the order (although early delivery may be possible if stock is available.)
Contracts are finalized, and the delivery date is set once the manufacturing of HAL has started. A Safe Use Training Program is held on the day of delivery.

Support and Service

Cyberdyne, the manufacturer, supports HAL use, and executes regular maintenance of HAL. The supplied computer is connected with Cyberdyne for a remote support service. Repair or maintenance may be done using this remote support service online.

Safe Use Training Program

We ask you to take Safe Use Training Program in order to start using "Robot Suit HAL".
"Robot Suit HAL" system may only be utilized (executing training or attaching HAL on a wearer) by the person who has successfully completed the training program.
