On 26.12.2007, the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy NISTEP awarded Dr. Snakai for "NISTEP Researcher 2007". The award is presented annually by the National Institute of Science and Technology Policy to recognize excellence in researchers promoting science and technology. Dr. Sankai paid a courtesy call on the education minister Tokai, who gave an incentive saying, "I consider science and technology as my lifework. I hope you to be much more active in each of your fields".
As in the comment by the NISTEP in the website which says "The work done gives dreams towards Science and Technologies to citizens... ", we, of CYBERDYNE, will come together in bringing dreams to the world, making year 2008 a much more splendid year.
*Dr. Nakayama of Kyoto University, and Dr. Mogi of SONY Computer Science Laboratory were also past honorees.
