A new research and development laboratory and manufacturing center is now under construction near Kenkyu Gakuen station of Tsukuba Express. The construction ceremony was held on April 16. The site stretches over 6300m³, with a total floorage of 5500m³ which allows manufacture of 500 robot suits per year. Everything including the present office and laboratories will move in the new site at Kenkyu Gakuen station by October 2008. As a new site begins to operate, the research and development will accelerate at a much faster rate enabling us to deliver "HAL" to you, and to the world.

CYBERDYNE Inc. will also be a tenant for a shopping center near the same station which will open this October. The "CYBERDYNE STUDIO" will bring you to the development of newest technology and the world of CYBERNICS (a new generation robotic technology). Every one from children to the grown ups, will be the future frontiers. Please look forward to the opening!!
